The Foundation – Founded in Mobile, Alabama, as Brown & Brown. We began by providing the essential dry goods that built the local community.
Technical Precision – As global conflict demanded rapid innovation, we pivoted into the high-stakes “cut and sew” industry. We developed the technical expertise in geomembrane liners and heavy-duty canvas that still protects industrial assets today.
Becoming ETP – Under the leadership of John K. Robinson, we officially became Engineered Textile Products. This era marked our expansion into specialized divisions, including the launch of ETP Race Marks and Artcraft Awning Company.
July 1, 2026 – Now led by Ken Robinson, we are embarking on our most significant evolution yet. We are reclaiming our identity as Environmental Textile Products, organizing our 150 years of expertise into five specialized divisions designed to protect your vision with surgical precision.
